Oil spill in oceans

video
Narrative
Living in a polluted area like the one i live in is scary. I don't know how long I will survive with these constant oil spills. I am a sea otter that lives everyday in fear. I live in the arctic where one of the biggest, most popular oil spills occurred, Exxon Valdez. During that spill, 2,800 sea otters and 250,000 birds were killed. It cost $2.1 billion to clean up this mess over a time span of four summers. Oil spills can be caused by careless fisherman who leave their oil tanks open. The oil then spills into the sea onto the fish and whales who later on die from poisoning. Sea otters, like myself, are effected greatly also by inhaling or consuming the oil. An estimated 250,000 seabirds, 2,800 sea otters, 300 harbour seals, 250 bald eagles, and up to 22 killer whales were killed. As well as this, billions of Salmon and Herring eggs and plants and animals were smothered in oil. People volunteer around the world to help clean up the spills.

Reflection
My story is about September 11th, 2001. I think it was well organized,
but i didn't use voice narration. I told a little bit of what happened
and how it affected New York City's history. This day is celebrated
every year in remembrance of the city's tallest buildings.

Digital Story Board 2 Narrative

Narrative
On September 11th, 2001 in New York City, history was made. The World Trade Center, also known as the Twin Towers, collapsed due to a man named Osama Bin Laden and the Al Qaeda terrorist organization. This tragic event brought all the citizens of New York together. After the towers went down, people lost family members and friends. This is what brought people together. Memorials were made all over New York with the names of the people who lost their lives in the towers. Communities and cities all over New York state, especially New York City took the time to remember the ones who lost their lives every year on September 11th. Schools have a moment of silence on this day to appreciate this day. When the planes hit the towers, it was all over the news instantly and everyone panicked. Those who knew others that worked in one of the towers immediately worried about they're lives. What was left of both the towers was built into one small 'statue'. This day is now celebrated every year to remember this tragic day. Those towers were the tallest in the city and they caught your eye whenever you passed. They were a landmark to the majority of New York citizens and now they're gone forever. No one will ever forget the day New York was under attack.
